In James, we learn that our actions demonstrate our faith. Our actions don’t save us, they show that our faith is real.

We see Christ as a better priest, of a better covenant, better tabernacle, and better sacrifice. To please God, we must have faith, forsake all, and accept Christ.

In the book of Hebrews, we see Christ as our Great High Priest. We can find rest, peace, mercy, and grace in Him.

Paul warns us to not let false teachers influence us. While we wait for Christ, we are to maintain our faith with patience and loyalty to Him.

O: Hosea lists Israel’s sins and affirms God’s love. Joel warns about a plague of locusts and calls on people to return to God.
WN: James speaks of the importance of good works and godly behavior. Peter tells of the benefits of suffering and the importance of faith and trust in the Word.

O: Daniel remains faithful to God in spite of temptations and trials. Daniel makes prophecies about the end times.
WN: Hebrews shows how Jesus is better than angels, priests, sacrifices, and the Law.
